Dr. Jakub Wondreys new at the HAIT

The HAIT welcomes Dr. Jakub Wondreys as a new staff member at the Institute. He studied at the Università Degli Studi Roma Tre, Rome, Italy (B.A.) and at the Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, Illinois (M.A.). In 2021, he received his Ph.D. from the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia (USA) with a thesis on "Unpacking Second-order Elections Theory: Vote Choice and Turnout in European Elections."

At the Hannah Arendt Institute, he will contribute his expertise in the research field of comparative extremism and autocracy.
