Research on political extremism
Research on political extremism in all its variants has long been a focus of attention at the HAIT. The result has been studies in the development of extremist ideologies, in the conditions of success for extreme right-wing parties and in politically motivated violence. More recently, interdisciplinary co-operative projects have extended into studies on xenophobia, immigration and integration.
